Mikes Recommendation:  The Thunderstruck is a great kite for beginners and intermediate flyers alike.  It has docile flying characteristics for the beginner and it will do intermediate tricks as well.  With a low wind requirement,  this kite will get you flying while other beginner kites remain grounded.  I usually keep all the Thunderstrucks in stock.
