Peter Lynn Vibe II Review

I just received the new Peter Lynn Vibe II kites in and
had to try one out. The Vibe is my favorite 2 line
kite and I was anxious to try the new Vibe II out.
The first thing I noticed is the new much improved bag.
It is much easier to put your kite into this bag than the
previous Vibe bag. Thank you Peter Lynn for the new
bag....and the new Kite. The new version has a
slightly more refined style than the previous Model. The
next thing I noticed about the Vibe II was that the lines
come preattached. Fine for the absolute
beginner, but I find I prefer to leave them unattached
when stored. So the first thing I did was unattach
them. At the top of the kite is the usual Peter Lynn
Velcro tab to secure your bridle lines when stored.
New to the Vibe II are dirt outs in the corners. A
nice touch for those who frequent the beach.
Graphics are vibrant on all 3 color versions.
The lime Green comes on the 1.3m and 2.3m Vibes. The
Blue comes on the 1.6m and 2.6m Vibes. The Red/Orange
comes on the 1.9m size.
Flying:
Okay, I don't know what I was suspecting, but
this kite flies great! I'm going to have to hook up
with a local customer to compare it to an older version,
but I really do think it is smoother and quicker. It
has a better profile too. The graphics are
awesome as well. I had the opportunity to fly a
2.3m that belonged to one my customers as well and the
flight behaviour on both is exactly the same. More
pull obviously for the larger kite, but the kite will
track exactly where you put it.
Other manufacturers have 2 line foil kites and they are
good kites. But In my opinion, this is the only
kite worth getting. Its priced where the others are at
and its a Peter Lynn. They know how to do a kite
right!
You can park this kite at the edge of
the window and it won't budge. Its happy where you
place it and you tell it to head out and it will do just
that.
I highly recommend the Vibe II.
It is available in 1.3m, 1.6m, 1.9m, 2.3m, and 2.6m sizes.
This kite is easy to fly and nobody will get bored with it.
I'm a Power Kite guy and I simply enjoy flying the Vibe II
whenever I get the chance.
To the left is the Vibe II 1.3m The 2.3m has
the same color scheme. The 2.3 is super for higher
winds, though it will fly in pretty light winds.
