Flying:
The Thunderstruck will compete head to head with the
HQ Bolero. Closely priced, the Bolero is slightly
larger, but the Thunderstruck flies in much lighter
winds.
With that being said, the Bolero will fly in higher
winds, but more of my time is waiting for those
higher winds and I would rather be flying.
There are no bad tendancies with this kite. We flew
it initially in 3-7 mph winds.
NOT ideal conditions!
But where a HQ Bolero would not get off the ground
because of the light wind, the Thunderstruck got up
without a problem.
This kite will even do some basic tricks as our
resident trickster Chris was able to make it do
stuff that when I try the same tricks, it just
tangles itself up. LOL. Pilot needs work....that
is all I got to say.
John helped with the flying while I took the
pictures. If you are a beginner or even an
intermediate dual line kiter, you will enjoy what
the Thunderstruck has to offer. There are 3
attractive designs to choose from as well.
