Recently, I met up with Chris from HQ Kites and he
was kind enough to let me try out the new HQ TOXIC.
Our selected day in Galveston had very light winds of 3-5
mph which are not the best for flying kites, but the
larger size combined with the nice flying characteristics of
this kite made for a nice session. Everyone who flew
it was glad they had the chance to experience this kite.
The Toxic is a buggy kite. It is its'
own kite and not a revamped Crosffire or the like. We
saw absolutely no bad habits with this kite. It
behaved as expected and we were very impressed by the power
and ease of flying for a buggy kite. I didn't get a
chance to do my normal review of the kite, but there
isn't much to say other than it is a very good kite.
