Lets face it, the custom buggies available are very expensive. even this one is not cheap. you really need something that is better than the standard xr+ but not into the custom stage if you are the casual buggier.
You can start with an XR+, and for alot of people, that is good enough. The Narrow axle allows easier transport, but also adds greater risk of flipping over. The buggy that I am riding is the buggy i have dubbed the 'frankenbuggy'. it is parts from the xr+, the bigfoot, and the vtt rail kit. it saves you a little over buying an xr+ and a vtt rail kit, but you get the larger bigfoot axle with it. (a $126 value) by adding bigfoot tires and front fork, you have a wide seat version of the bigfoot
